Keyway Christian Fellowship all started with one mans vision of reaching the lost and changing peoples lives, his name was Derek Fellows. Derek loved God and had already experienced his awesome power when he was healed of a long term hip problem in 1988. He fellowshiped in a local church (Bilston Pentecostal Church) until he felt God calling him to the ministry.

 In 1999 he and his wife Sylvia left the church with their blessing, support and prayers and started a church in an old school hall in Willenhall which they rented each week.The school was situated at the bottom of a duel carageway which is called The Keyway, hence the name of the newly founded church Keyway Pentecostal. On occations Pastor Derek would preach to three people but God started to bless them and people were saved and numbers increased.

All was well but Derek knew God had bigger and better plans. Then unexpectedly Pastor Derek had what seemed to be some bad news, the school was old and run down and therefore was about to close,they had until Dec 2001 to make other arrangements. The church knew that God would find them a new place of worship, so they started to pray and believed Gods prophecies and word.

In the months leading up to the Dec 01 Pastor Derek heard some great news. Two pastors in the area at that time, Pastor John Price and Pastor Maurice White knew of a church in Darlaston that was due to close unless someone could take it over. Breakthrough!

On the 16th Dec 2001 the same month that they were to be evicted out of the school, Pastor George Flavell of Darlaston Pentecostal Church handed the keys to Pastor Derek Fellows, and so it became Keyway Pentecostal Church.It even worked that they did'nt even have to miss a service.

Sadly in Dec 2002 Derek went to be with the lord ,but his wife Sylvia still retained the vision of what God had promised. In Dec 02 Sylvia took the church over and became the pastor.

At Keyway Christian Fellowship we feel our core mission is to to let people know about the truly amazing FREE gift of grace and love that Jesus accomplished on the cross for everyone.

"For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith - and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God - not by works, so that no one can boast." Ephesians 2:8-9

We want to let people know just how much God loves them and wants to change their lives for the better.You know life is short, time is running out, people need Jesus now, just as much as they did 2000 years ago.

  Therefore go and make disciples of all nations,

  baptising them in the name of the

  Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. (Mathew 28 v 19)

We hope that in the future the influence of this church in the community will be one of great impact, to the young, the old, and of all races and nationatilies. We have recently started a carer and toddler group in september 07, and have plans for reaching all other ages of children with a vision for a youth club in the church. Its early days but we have the imagination to see these things in our hearts, and the faith in Gods awesome power to make them so.
